Superfood Options Include
High Fiber Foods – Organic Psyllium husk powder, LSA (Linseed, Sunflower, Almond) powder or Sprouted Pea Fiber powder.
Organic Chia Seeds – good fiber source and omega-3 fatty acids nourish beneficial gut microflora and soothe the intestinal walls, thereby promoting healthy function.
Diatomaceous Earth (food grade) – literally fossil powder, has an abrasive, fiber-like, “sweeping / cleaning” effect through the gut. Diatomaceous earth is comprised of 85% silica which is important trace mineral is required by tendons, cartilage, blood vessels, and bones. Some research also suggests it’s a natural tool for promoting normal blood lipids, detoxing toxic metals, and eliminating harmful microflora.
High Vitamin C foods – Organic Baobab or Camu Camu powder. High Vitamin C can have a natural, mild laxative effect. Both Baobab and Camu Camu also have significant fiber content.
Organic Inulin Powder – a type of fiber which passes undigested through the small intestine, becoming then a “prebiotic” to beneficial microflora residing in the colon. By promoting health gut flora, by extension it improves bowel function.
Activated Charcoal – cleanses the gut by attracting and binding toxins.
Gentle elimination promoting herbs i.e Aloe Vera , Fenugreek, Licorice, Fennel, Ginger, Turmeric etc
Organic Chlorella powder – aside from its incredible detoxifying properties, chlorella has renowned for promoting intestinal health due to the phenomenon known as Chlorella Growth Factor (CGF).
